Collection and Conservation of Altogether plant species
With profound interest and involvement, since 1993 I collected all category of plant species from road-sides, jungles and nursery gardens during my travel in and around India. The collected plants have been planted and conserved in ABS botanical gardens, situated at Yercaud (a hill-station) and at Kaaripatti (tropical plains) of Salem district, TamilNadu. Continuous observation is undertaken till date and found most of the plants are under survival and yield. Around 3000 plant species are under conservation. |
